‘Kaleido’ is a free improvising collective mentored by Alfred Zimmerlin and Fred Frith based in Basel, Switzerland. Coming from all corners of the world, and diverse musical backgrounds the young musicians create music of the moment. Their music often explores the limits, resulting in a unique sound palette yet to be heard. Always striving to be new, truthful, and without pretence the artists reflect the time and space in which they find themselves.
