Bahá’í-samfundet i København inviterer til en aften, hvor Rainn Wilson udforsker, hvilken rolle åndelighed spiller for håb og heling. Wilsons tilgang til åndelighed, som det ikke-fysiske, evige aspekt af vores eget selv, tilbyder muligheder uanset kulturel eller religiøs baggrund. Og så trækker han på både Star Trek og Kung Fu.

Rainn Wilson er en amerikansk skuespiller, komiker, forfatter og producer. Han er nok bedst kendt for sin rolle som Dwight Schrute i The Office, men han har også lavet flere podcasts, bl.a. “Soul Boom”. I disse podcasts taler han med iværksættere, forfattere, skuespillere og andre om åndelighed og ændringer i samfundet. Denne aften vil han tage udgangspunkt i sin nyeste bog “Soul Boom – Why We Need a Spiritual Revolution”.

Rainn Wilson får selskab af moderator Henrik Schmidt, der er psykolog med speciale i ledelsesudvikling indenfor bl.a. uddannelse og i medicinalindustrien. Henriks særlige interessefelt er åndelig udvikling og hjerneforskning. Gennem samtale med Rainn og spørgsmål fra publikum, vil han hjælpe med at komme dybere ind i spørgsmål om eksistens og åndelighed som grundlag for, at vi kan håndtere udfordringerne i verden.

Rainn Wilson is an American actor, comedian, writer and producer. He is probably best known for his role as Dwight Schrute in The Office, but he has also made several podcasts, e.g. “Soul Boom”. In these podcasts, he talks with entrepreneurs, writers, actors and others about spirituality and changes in society. This evening, he will start from his latest book “Soul Boom – Why We Need a Spiritual Revolution”.

Rainn Wilson will be joined by moderator Henrik Schmidt, who is a psychologist specializing in leadership development within education and in the pharmaceutical industry. Henrik’s special field of interest is spiritual development and brain research. Through conversation with Rainn and questions from the audience, he will help to get deeper into the questions of existence and spirituality as basis for us being able to deal with the challenges of the world
