PREMIERE!
45 minutes sound experience for flute, violin and organ.
This piece uses very simple expanding chromatic modes that are made into melodies using random number generator.
Composer does not choose the sequences of melodic combinations but instead leaves this for the chance operation to be done. This peace is combined by several ideas such as elementary heterophony, simple process-forms, randomized melodies in a narrow chromatic range, ritualistic/minimalistic approach to sound, limited performative expression and parallel tempos.
The middle part of the piece sounds like ancient Lithuanian polyphony (Sutartinės) music.
